Tilemori Privacy Policy
Tilemori is an on-device viewer for compatible iCATCH DVR video sources. It is developed by Makson Lee. This Privacy Policy explains how the Android application handles user and device data.
1. Information handled by the app
The app handles the DVR address, adapter choice, and display preferences entered by the user. If the user supplies a DVR username and password, those credentials are encrypted with a key held by Android Keystore and the encrypted value is stored in the app's private storage.
2. Video and network processing
The Android device connects directly to the DVR address selected by the user. Encoded camera data is decoded and displayed on the device. The developer does not operate an intermediary video service and does not receive the DVR address, credentials, camera video, or app settings.
Some compatible DVRs support only unencrypted HTTP. In that case, traffic between the Android device and DVR is not encrypted in transit. Users should use a trusted local network or a separately protected network path.
3. Collection, sharing, and third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics, cloud synchronization, or remote crash-reporting SDK. The developer does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data through the app.
The app includes open-source Android, Rust, and GStreamer components needed to decode and display video. They run as part of the app and are not used by the developer to collect user data.
4. Logs and security
Diagnostics are kept in a bounded in-memory history and the Android debug log. They contain technical playback state and counters, not the DVR URL, username, or password. Release builds prevent screenshots and recent-app previews to reduce accidental disclosure of camera images.
5. Data retention and deletion
Settings remain in the app's private storage until the user changes them, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Stored DVR credentials can also be deleted from the app's settings. The app does not create a Tilemori account, so the developer holds no server-side account or app data to delete.
6. Permissions
Internet, network-state, and local-network access are used only to discover or connect to the DVR endpoint chosen by the user. The app does not request access to the Android device's camera, microphone, contacts, location, or media library.
7. Children
The app is an operations and monitoring utility intended for adults. It is not directed to children.
8. Changes to this policy
Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
9. Third-party library licensing
The app uses third-party open-source libraries, including GStreamer under the LGPL. The application's source repository remains private. Using these libraries does not by itself require publication of the complete application source.
The LGPL applies to the GStreamer components distributed with the app. Its conditions include applicable license notices, corresponding library source, and the recipient's ability to use a modified library under the permitted linking conditions. The applicable component licenses govern the required materials and how they are provided. Include the app version shown by Google Play when contacting the developer about component licensing.
This clarification does not withdraw source offers or recipient rights associated with versions already distributed.

Tilemori Android 隱私權政策
Tilemori 是相容 iCATCH DVR 影像來源的裝置端檢視器，由 Makson Lee 開發。本政策說明 Android 應用程式如何處理使用者與裝置資料。
1. 應用程式處理的資訊
應用程式會處理使用者輸入的 DVR 位址、adapter 選擇與畫面偏好設定。若使用者提供 DVR 帳號與密碼，應用程式會以 Android Keystore 保存的金鑰加密，並將加密後的資料存於應用程式的私有儲存空間。
2. 影像與網路處理
Android 裝置會直接連線至使用者指定的 DVR。攝影機壓縮影像只在裝置上解碼及顯示。開發者未營運影像中繼服務，也不會收到 DVR 位址、帳號密碼、攝影機影像或應用程式設定。
部分相容 DVR 只支援未加密 HTTP；此時 Android 裝置與 DVR 間的傳輸沒有加密。使用者應使用可信任的區域網路，或另外受保護的網路路徑。
3. 蒐集、分享與第三方元件
應用程式不含廣告、分析、雲端同步或遠端當機回報 SDK。開發者不會透過應用程式蒐集、販售、出租或分享個人資料。
應用程式包含解碼及顯示影像所需的開源 Android、Rust 與 GStreamer 元件。這些元件在應用程式內執行，不會被開發者用來蒐集使用者資料。
4. Log 與安全措施
診斷資料只保留有限筆數於記憶體與 Android debug log，內容是播放狀態與計數器，不包含 DVR 網址、帳號或密碼。正式版會禁止螢幕截圖與最近使用的應用程式預覽，以降低攝影機影像意外外洩的風險。
5. 保存與刪除
設定會留在應用程式私有儲存空間，直到使用者修改設定、清除應用程式資料或移除應用程式。使用者也可在設定畫面刪除已儲存的 DVR 帳號密碼。應用程式不建立 Tilemori 帳號，因此開發者沒有伺服器端帳號或應用程式資料需要刪除。
6. 權限
網際網路、網路狀態與區域網路權限只用於探索或連線至使用者指定的 DVR。應用程式不要求存取 Android 裝置的相機、麥克風、聯絡人、位置或媒體庫。
7. 兒童
本應用程式是提供成年人使用的操作與監看工具，不以兒童為目標使用者。
8. 政策變更
若本政策有重大變更，將更新本頁面的生效日期。
9. 第三方函式庫授權
應用程式使用第三方開源函式庫，其中 GStreamer 採用 LGPL 授權。應用程式原始碼儲存庫保持私有；使用這些函式庫本身不代表必須公開完整應用程式原始碼。
LGPL 適用於隨應用程式散布的 GStreamer 元件。其條件包含適用的授權聲明、函式庫對應原始碼，以及收受者依允許的連結方式使用修改版函式庫的能力。所需材料及提供方式以元件實際授權條款為準。聯絡開發者詢問元件授權時，請提供 Google Play 顯示的應用程式版本。
這項釐清不撤回已散布版本所適用的原始碼提供承諾或收受者權利。
